The current use description says the Anvil provides all the benefits of a Sharpening Stone, requires a nearby campfire and can replace an existing Sharpening Stone. It does not list the specific crafting recipes it supports.〔1〕
Why it is worth watching
The name Anvil readily suggests crafting in the field, but its name cannot substitute for checking its functions. Blacksmiths will want to find out whether they can perform steps requiring an anvil at a camp far from a city. Party members can focus for now on the retained camp buffs. This article treats field crafting as a use to test, rather than presenting the Anvil as an already usable portable crafting station.〔2〕
Conditions supported by the current data
- Profession: Blacksmithing
- Item usage requirement: Blacksmithing 140
These item usage conditions are not recipe learning requirements. The learning route still needs to be checked.〔3〕
What to test next
- Compared with a fixed anvil, which recipes can be crafted near it?
- How are buffs and their remaining duration handled when it replaces a Sharpening Stone?
- Where is the recipe learned, how long does the facility last, and who can use it?
These are targets for the next round of testing, not confirmed acquisition or usage rules.〔2〕
Crafting materials
| Material | Recipe quantity |
|---|---|
| Bronze Bar | 5 |
| Coarse Grinding Stone | 2 |
| Medium Leather | 2 |
Quantities follow the current recipe record. The actual output per craft still needs to be checked.〔4〕
