Legacy System

Legacy is Forever's account-wide horizontal progression: your account earns points from Legacy Challenges and each character spends them across three trees (Professions / Adventure / Resourcefulness). It is all about convenience and quality of life — combat balance is untouched. Official numbers: 65 challenges, 16 points spendable per character at launch; the system unlocks with your first point (typically a character reaching level 25, or 150 skill in a non-gathering profession, or full world exploration), hotkey Y. The planner below covers all 21 named perks: click a socket to add a point, right-click to remove, hover for effects, and use the top bar to search or copy a share link.

How the system works

  • Unlock: the system opens with your first Legacy Point — typically a character hitting level 25; 150 skill in a non-gathering profession or full world exploration works too.
  • Spend: each character can spend up to 16 points, shared across all three trees; a second character on the account immediately sees the full earned pool.
  • Per-character cap: one character can earn at most 29 points (3 leveling + 6 professions + 12 PvP + 2 adventure + 6 dungeons & raids) — but can still only spend 16.
  • Open the panel with hotkey Y; Hardcore characters get their own challenge pool after launch.
