Profession Guides (1-300)

Every WoW Forever profession in one place — 9 primary trades and 3 secondaries, each with a full 1-300 leveling route. Crafting trades carry 893 new recipes (beta datamining), gatherers share the Legacy Bountiful Harvest yield bonus, and secondaries are open to everyone. Routes follow classic-era community consensus with Forever changes and verify-at-launch items flagged inline; Legacy perks and per-class pairing advice are linked throughout.

Gathering3

All three gathering trades share the Legacy Bountiful Harvest node: +20/40/60/80/100% rare materials per rank. New characters should pair Mining+Herbalism or Skinning+Leatherworking.

Herbalism1-300 Starts with the gatherer's handbook (+2 skill); maxed Bountiful Harvest nearly doubles rare herbs like Dreamfoil. Mining1-300 Zone-by-zone ore routes for both factions, plus the beta-tested no-mining-pick easter egg. Skinning1-300 Mob-adjacent routes with zero detours — the classic self-supply partner for Leatherworking.

Crafting6

Forever ships 893 new crafting recipes across these six trades (beta datamining), each with its own economy.

Alchemy1-300 72 new recipes; potions and flasks hit harder and last longer (community-reported — verify at launch). Blacksmithing1-300 203 new recipes including field repair tools and the Sharpening Wheel kit — the plate-wearer's pick. Enchanting1-300 63 new recipes; ring enchants and a new staff craft — pair with Tailoring to disenchant your own greens. Engineering1-300 80 new recipes plus campsite gizmos — the biggest source of consumables and fun gadgets. Leatherworking1-300 289 new recipes, the most of any trade; leather/mail self-supply with the Tanning Rack camp object. Tailoring1-300 186 new recipes; the only crafting trade with no gathering partner — bags and caster gear both pay.

Secondary3

Everyone can learn all three on top of their two primary trades — raise First Aid on day one (healing potions now live there).

Cooking1-300 44 new recipes and the raid-food line, kitted out with camp kitchen objects. First Aid1-300 17 new recipes; everyone's second health bar — keep cloth bolts handy. Fishing1-300 3 new recipes; the Legacy double-catch and the eel economy are the long game.

How to spend Legacy points on trades

On the Tradeskills Legacy line, Bountiful Harvest is the gatherer's must-have (rare materials up to double, and the gate for Performance Bonus), while Working Overtime gives any tradeskill use a chance at a free skill point.
