Three weekly resets after the Labyrinths went live, the first Myth 2/6 piece of loot is in reach — and it doesn't come from a drop. Wowhead reported at 5:58 p.m. CT on October 27 (6:58 a.m. Beijing time, October 28) that Wah'du now redeems one item from his list for three Mythical Soul Fragments, with the exact stats visible before you buy. His stock makes gearing up "easier," in Wowhead's words.
One quest a week, three fragments per item
Wah'du posts one new quest each week: complete a specific Chamber in the Labyrinth on Tier 8 or above, and the quest pays out one Mythical Soul Fragment. Turn in three at Wah'du and pick a piece from his selection at Myth 2/6 item level. The report does not give the numeric item level for that track step.
Behind on quests? Wah'du "will offer one quest at a time until you're caught up," and you "might even be able to do multiple quests in the same run." Characters that skipped the first two weeks can catch up a lot faster than the one-quest-per-week cadence suggests.
Rings first
Wowhead expects the rings to be the most popular purchases: this tier is short on rings, every character needs two, and ideally with the right stat combination. The report name-checks three ring sources outside the vendor list:
- Kith'ix — recently added another Heavy Mastery ring, Band of the Swarmcaller
- Nyrmissa — the Haste/Versatility Alluring Bubbleband
- Venomous Abyss — two rings, Apex Brute's Claw Ring and Vile Alchemist's Band
Wah'du's own list carries four rings: Ouroboric Signet (Mastery/Haste), Hex Loop (Mastery/Crit), Anguine Gyre (Crit/Vers), and Colubrine Band (Haste/Mastery).
The pool runs 56 items, every slot covered
The full list adds up to 56 pieces: 4 backs, 2 necks, 4 rings; 14 weapons, from warglaive, shield and off-hand to two-handed swords, axes and polearm, staff, bow, and one-handed swords, maces and daggers; and a complete 8-slot set for each armor type — Pledgebearer's plate, Galerider's mail, Miststalker's leather, and Pyrewalker's cloth. Each armor family shares one set of names across all eight slots, so matching pieces by armor type is straightforward.
Known and unknown
Confirmed in the report: the Tier 8+ quest gate, three fragments per item, stat previews before purchase, the catch-up mechanic, and the full item list.
Not announced, or absent from the report:
- No official Blizzard post or hotfix note accompanies the story — "available now" rests on Wowhead's own confirmation
- The numeric item level of the Myth 2/6 track step, and how it maps to dungeon drop item levels
- Whether later weeks unlock the next track step — the report only confirms one new quest per week, nothing about a step up next week
- Whether gold or any other currency is involved beyond the three fragments
What to do this week
- Pick up Wah'du's quest after this week's reset and run the assigned Chamber, Tier 8 or above
- Behind? Take one quest at a time and clear as many as you can per run — you can hit redemption this week
- Check stats item by item before buying, rings first: sources are scarce and everyone has two slots to fill
- For broader gearing context, start with the site's rundown of the Ascended Venomforged item level changes
