Blizzard posted its official hotfixes list for October 30, 2026 on Friday (page timestamp 02:17 UTC October 31, 10:17 a.m. Beijing time), and the list touches WoW: Forever in exactly two places — both in the Labyrinth. The "Voices of Stone" bonus objective in the Bear's Burden scenario no longer gets stuck on the UI, and some Tether icons in The Wandering no longer flicker erratically. MMO-Champion relayed the full text with the official link at 10:23 Beijing time. Global launch is set for November 5 in Beijing-time framing — five days out.
What the two fixes cover
The entries, verbatim:
Fixed an issue with the "Voices of Stone" bonus objective in the "Bear's Burden" scenario that caused it to become stuck on the UI.
Fixed an issue with "The Wandering" scenario that caused some Tether icons to flicker erratically.
The first addresses a bonus objective: per Blizzard, Voices of Stone would become "stuck on the UI." The post does not spell out the exact symptom beyond that phrase — whether the tracking card failed to clear or something else, it does not say. The second is a display issue: some Tether icons in The Wandering flickered erratically, and now they do not.
It is the second fix to The Wandering inside a week. The same hotfixes page's October 26 entries record the previous one: the Remnant would briefly stop moving when additional players walked in and out of the spirits' tether proximity. That one is already fixed.
The other two entries are retail housing and cloaks
The rest of the October 30 list has nothing to do with WoW: Forever. Housing: tracking the source for the Nagrand plant decor sold by Botanist Gril'ka now properly leads to her location. Items: Azshara's Darkscale Cloak and Azshara's Deepscale Cloak were adjusted to resolve a dividing line that was visible under specific lighting. That is the entire batch — Blizzard offers no further detail.
Not the same document as this morning's talent tuning
Earlier on October 31 (07:22 Beijing time), this site reported the Wowhead-relayed Druid and Paladin talent tree overhaul for WoW: Forever — Berserk removed from the Feral tree, Wild Growth gaining a 3-second cast, among the rest. That batch came from a single media relay with no official confirmation, and Blizzard's new hotfixes post still contains no entries for it; the gap in the official record stands. Keep the two documents apart: this one is official text and can be treated as authoritative; the talent tuning remains unconfirmed in development notes until Blizzard posts otherwise.
Known and unknown
Known (official text):
- The two Labyrinth fixes quoted above, from the Blizzard News post, entries dated October 30.
- Blizzard's standing note on timing: some hotfixes take effect the moment they are implemented, while others require scheduled realm restarts.
- The list will be updated as additional hotfixes are applied.
Not announced:
- When either fix takes effect on WoW: Forever realms — the post labels neither the affected server nor an effective time per entry.
- The exact symptom and trigger of the Voices of Stone UI bug; the official text is limited to "stuck on the UI."
- Any official text for the Druid/Paladin talent batch relayed earlier today; the October 30 post does not include it.
Naming note: official Chinese localized names for Bear's Burden, The Wandering, Voices of Stone, Tether and Remnant have not been announced; the Chinese edition keeps the English terms.
Five days out
- Verify the fixes on your next Labyrinth run: pick up Voices of Stone in Bear's Burden and watch whether the objective card still sticks; keep an eye on Tether icons while running The Wandering. If the bugs persist, save a screenshot with a timestamp and check back once the official list updates.
- The loot route is untouched by this batch: the Labyrinth redemption stays as-is — one Tier 8+ Chamber quest per week yields a Mythical Soul Fragment, and three buy one Myth 2/6 piece (see our earlier write-up).
- Keep three dates: name reservations close at 23:59 Beijing time on November 3; global launch lands November 5 in Beijing-time framing; the first three raids — Barrow Deeps 10-player, Hyjal Summit 20-player, Onyxia 40-player — open December 9. The talent arguments can rage on; two more Labyrinth annoyances are gone before launch.
