Preview based on the China-region Forever 1.60.1.70245 zhCN client, compiled on October 9, 2026. Client records do not establish live availability or behavior. In-game testing is incomplete and hotfixes may change the results.
Stormshroud combines passive attributes with attack-triggered effects. The two-piece description concerns Nature damage, the three-piece description concerns restoring Energy through melee attacks, and the four-piece reward increases attack power. Trigger conditions matter more than the set's total piece count alone.
What makes this set worth examining
The four components cover the chest, legs, shoulders and hands and have different required levels. Energy is a specific resource: the wording does not imply Mana, Rage or universal resource restoration. A chance to trigger Nature damage also does not mean that every attack gains a fixed damage amount.
Set ID: 142. Components and bonus thresholds follow this extraction. [1]
Components and equipment requirements
| Component | Item ID | Slot | Quality | Item level | Required level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stormshroud Armor | 15056 | Chest | Rare | 57 | 52 |
| Stormshroud Pants | 15057 | Legs | Rare | 55 | 50 |
| Stormshroud Shoulders | 15058 | Shoulder | Rare | 59 | 54 |
| Stormshroud Gloves | 21278 | Hands | Rare | 62 | 57 |
Item level and required level come from decoded client fields. Final attributes, armor and durability have not been calibrated. Any simulator reference values in the interactive viewer are separately labeled and are not current-server values. A required-level value of 0 does not remove other use conditions. [1]
Set bonuses and activation thresholds
| Pieces required | Description | Spell ID |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | Successful hits have a chance to deal Nature damage. The source description states 10%; damage and actual proc rules require verification. | 18979 |
| 3 | Melee attacks have a chance to restore Energy. The source description states 4%; the amount and actual proc rules require verification. | 23863 |
| 4 | Increases attack power. | 9142 |
Descriptions are English editorial renderings of the extracted text. Unresolved numerical variables are not filled from older versions; any percentages already present in the source are not measured proc rates. [2]
Acquisition: what is actually established
All four pieces, including Stormshroud Gloves, have Leatherworking links. Materials come from the current client records. Evidence does not yet establish whether each pattern comes from training, a vendor, a drop or another source.
| Component | Profession | Crafting spell ID |
|---|---|---|
| Stormshroud Armor | Leatherworking | 19079 |
| Stormshroud Pants | Leatherworking | 19067 |
| Stormshroud Shoulders | Leatherworking | 19090 |
| Stormshroud Gloves | Leatherworking | 26279 |
These links establish client-side crafting relationships, not a specific pattern source, trainer location or current availability. [3]

Quantities are listed per crafting record, not as a whole-set total. Material sources, prices, crafting output and additional unlocks are not inferred here; check the in-game recipe before buying. [3]
Implications for gearing and collecting
Useful testing should identify eligible attacks, any internal cooldown, and whether weapon speed or other effects change the behavior. Until those questions are answered, the percentages are unverified client descriptions and should not be treated as a stable damage- or resource-per-second estimate.
What still needs verification
- Record which attacks can trigger the two-piece Nature damage and three-piece Energy effects.
- Check internal cooldowns, damage and restored Energy instead of estimating returns from the stated percentages alone.
- Identify acquisition locations for all four Leatherworking patterns.
Sources and scope
[1] Our extraction of the China-region Forever 1.60.1.70245 zhCN client: ItemSet and ItemSparse provide set IDs, component relationships and decoded equipment fields. Known English item labels use the site's WoWSims name mapping by exact item ID; new set titles and other labels are editorial English translations, not a claim to an official enUS client localization. Missing item details remain unconfirmed.
[2] ItemSetSpell, SpellName and Spell in the same snapshot provide thresholds, effect IDs and source descriptions. Unresolved variables have not been presented as fixed values.
[3] SpellEffect, SkillLineAbility, SkillLine and SpellReagents in the same snapshot provide crafting links and per-recipe materials.
ItemSet and ItemSetSpell are fully decoded in this batch. Some equipment, spell and profession tables contain undecoded sections, and client hotfixes were not applied. The decoded dungeon-journal and loot tables are empty, so no unverified boss drops, vendor coordinates or quest routes are supplied.
