Profession preview | Based on client build 1.60.1.70245, compiled on 9 October 2026. Not tested in-game. This evidence excludes hotfixes and some encrypted records; actual availability and behavior require in-game confirmation.
The Draught of Predatory Perception slightly increases stealth detection. After the character stays still for a period of time, nearby moving stealthed enemies may reveal heat trails. The description also says the effect persists through death, but the waiting time and duration remain unresolved.〔1〕
Why it is worth watching
The combination of a stationary observer and a moving target makes this worth testing for scouting and counter-scouting. It may offer outdoor players another information tool. However, "may reveal" is not a guarantee of visibility, and there is no evidence that it removes the target's stealth state. The stationary and movement conditions will affect how much information it supplies in a real encounter.〔2〕
Conditions supported by the current data
- Profession: Alchemy
- Character level required to use the item: 45
These item usage conditions are not recipe learning requirements. The learning route still needs to be checked.〔3〕
What to test next
- How long must you remain still, and what are the detection range and duration?
- Who can see the trails, and do terrain or line of sight affect them?
- How do death, movement and becoming stationary again affect the effect?
These are targets for the next round of testing, not confirmed acquisition or usage rules.〔2〕
