newGlimmering Staff preview: a leveling weapon lead from Enchanting

Profession preview | Based on client build 1.60.1.70245, compiled on 9 October 2026. Not tested in-game. This evidence excludes hotfixes and some encrypted records; actual availability and behavior require in-game confirmation.

The Glimmering Staff is made through Enchanting. The current record shows blue quality, a character level requirement of 25, item level 30 and Bind on Pickup.〔1〕

Why it is worth watching

This item expands the investigation of Enchanting beyond adding stats to existing equipment to profession-crafted items for personal use. Players considering a long-term commitment to Enchanting should next compare its full stats, crafting cost and equipment available at the same stage. This selection does not include complete weapon stats, so it cannot support a best-in-slot ranking or treating the item as an auction-house product.〔2〕

Conditions supported by the current data

• Profession: Enchanting
• Character level required to use the item: 25
• Item quality: blue
• Item binding: Bind on Pickup

These item usage conditions are not recipe learning requirements. The learning route still needs to be checked.〔3〕

What to test next

• What are its complete weapon stats and equipment restrictions?
• Where is the recipe learned, and what skill is actually required?
• Do binding and crafting yield match the records, and are there any special exceptions?

These are targets for the next round of testing, not confirmed acquisition or usage rules.〔2〕

Crafting materials

Quantities follow the current recipe record. The actual output per craft still needs to be checked.〔4〕
