Imperial Plate is a familiar name, but the Forever records should not be read as a copy of an older guide. This set lists eight components, including Imperial Plate Gauntlets. Its four-piece description introduces Imperial Discipline, an effect concerning a movement speed floor.
What makes this set worth examining
The thresholds run from two through six pieces, covering Defense skill, hit chance, a movement speed floor, Strength and critical strike chance. Defense skill is not armor. A minimum movement speed does not by itself establish immunity to roots, knockbacks or every form of crowd control. The current text cannot settle those cases.

Implications for gearing and collecting
The most useful test is how four-piece Imperial Discipline handles different slows. Establish which movement situations it affects, then compare that benefit against the individual stats you give up. The description alone cannot support a PvE or PvP ranking.
