Scope: This is a Classic route reference, not a fully tested Forever route. Verify recipe thresholds, quantities, yields and Legacy effects in the current client before buying materials.
The crafting trade with no gathering requirement
Tailoring eats cloth from humanoid mobs — the ones you were already killing while leveling. It is the only crafting profession that doesn't need a gathering partner. Forever gives it 186 new recipes (beta datamining), refreshing both the caster gear line and the utility line (bags, bandage cloth, campsite recipes).
The 1-300 route
Tier gates: Apprentice 5 (75), Journeyman 10 (150), Expert 20 (225), Artisan 35 (300). The metronome of tailoring is the cloth bolt: turn each cloth tier into bolts first, then finished goods. Classic-base brackets:

Three habits: cloth comes from your leveling mobs — no dedicated farming (zone plan on the leveling page); when short, bulk-buy on the auction house instead of farming; Tailoring + Enchanting is the classic pair — disenchant your own leveling greens and both trades rise together (Enchanting 1-300); bags are permanent sellers, especially during Forever's player influx.
