A note on timing: the original report published on October 8 (more than 48 hours ago); this is a roundup.

Forever's Group Finder (LFG) quietly gained a required pick: before you can queue for dungeon groups, you must choose one of four "Playstyle" tags — Learning, Relaxed, Competitive, and the most controversial of the bunch, Carry Offered.

What each tag is for:

  • Learning / Relaxed: slower-paced runs, friendly to newcomers and anyone not in a hurry. These are the useful ones — new players who pick them get kicked far less.
  • Competitive: a bit ahead of its time, since Forever's dungeons don't really have a speedrun scene yet; this reads as future-proofing for competitive raid rosters chasing fast clears.
  • Carry Offered: the spicy one. Carries typically come with a price tag, and Forever bans GDKP outright — paid carries sit right at the edge of the Terms of Service. The community is already arguing about why the category exists in a required picker at all, given Blizzard's anti-RMT stance.

Practical advice: tag honestly — labeling a casual run Competitive wastes everyone's time; newcomers should prefer Learning/Relaxed groups; and think twice about Carry Offered listings (anything involving real money carries rule and risk implications).

Read together with the recent group-play changes (the GDKP ban, Discord voice integration), the theme is clear: Blizzard is building rules around group social play. Dungeon quick-reference in the dungeon atlas; the GDKP scope clarification in yesterday's article; builds in the talent library.
