The "tool weapon" family in Forever has a new member. After the mining-favorite Rockslicer, players discovered that the Graverobber's Shovel has a rather special use: digging graves in cemeteries yields the alchemy material Grave Moss.
Community-tested numbers (shared by Reddit user u/BobFreeman6969): digging graves at Raven Hill Cemetery in Duskwood and the Scarlet Monastery Graveyard with all 20 charges yielded 9 Grave Moss. A notable side effect: each dig can spawn a level-30 Disturbed Ghoul — they grant experience but drop nothing, so treat them as bonus XP on your route.
Why Grave Moss matters: it's the Classic alchemy material for Shadow Oil and Shadow Protection Potion. In the original game its drop sources were scattered and unpredictable — Forever turns that into a controlled, targeted farming loop with one shovel.
For gatherers: this shovel shares a design thread with the Rockslicer for miners — dedicated tool-weapons per gathering profession. Herbalists and alchemists should reserve a slot for it in their routes; see the Herbalism 1-300 guide for route planning, the Alchemy 1-300 guide for Shadow Oil crafting, and the Mining 1-300 guide for its tool-weapon sibling.
