Correction, October 3, 2026: The earlier article treated simulator records as proof that three expansions of raids had been retuned to level 60 and that drops extended to Icecrown Citadel. It also interpreted empty gem and random-suffix tables as proof those systems were removed. Those unsupported conclusions are withdrawn. The earlier category counts do not establish a total of obtainable gear.
What the snapshot tells us
The reference is the fixed WoWSims Forever database snapshot, commit c4e901f7d. It identifies item IDs, names and fields included for simulation at that revision.
Inclusion in a simulator does not establish current availability in the game. Shared records, historical data, test items and modeling scope can affect coverage. Verify the source, version and date separately before treating an item as obtainable.
Evidence needed for a useful gear entry

- A zone name in the database does not establish that the instance is open.
- An empty gem or random-suffix table does not establish that the system was removed.
- Adding filtered groups does not produce a deduplicated item total or the number of currently obtainable items.
Where to look next
Check the dungeon guide for opening status and each page's source notes. Community loot reports and official opening announcements serve different purposes. The build library uses a historical talent snapshot and cannot establish current gear performance.
This dataset alone is insufficient for a final best-in-slot list or verified drop rates. Future entries need a source, client version, verification date and explicit unknown fields. See updates and data status for changes.
