The final countdown is here. For the last 24 hours of the WoW: Forever Beta (it closes at 10:00 AM PDT on Friday, October 23 — 1:00 AM October 24, Beijing time), Blizzard is running "24 hours of shenanigans and upheaval" across Zephras Isle, Dun Morogh, Elwynn Forest, Teldrassil, Durotar, Tirisfal Glades, and Mulgore.
Confirmed festivities
- Blizzard president Johanna Faries teased on social media that Azuregos and Kazzak are making appearances — classic world bosses back in the starter zones;
- Early finds from players: many loot tables now drop epics, and vendors are selling triple experience potions — a leveling-speed farewell party.
How to join
Log into the WoW: Forever Beta one last time and head to any of the zones above. The festivities run until the Beta's permanent shutdown at 10:00 AM PDT on Friday.
The official caveat
The announcement explicitly notes that the shenanigans and upheaval "almost certainly include items and experiences that will not be a part of WoW Forever after it launches on November 4." In other words: the epics and triple potions are farewell-only — enjoy the chaos and the memories, but keep them out of your launch expectations.
