Pre-download for the Chinese server's WoW: Forever Beta is now open. The CN server's official announcement confirms Beta testing runs October 6 to 26 (Beijing time), with the global launch on November 5.
The key facts in one place:
- Testing window: October 6 to 26 (Beijing time).
- Eligibility: only players who bought the Epic pack or obtained access through official events can log in.
- Wipe test: all test characters and data will be deleted when the test ends — nothing carries over to launch, so experiment freely.
- Two ways to pre-download: through the Battle.net desktop app (select WoW: Forever under Preferences, then pick the game in the Game Version & Account menu), or via the full client on the website's download page, then sign in to Battle.net and select the game the same way. Blizzard recommends updating your GPU drivers first and installing on an SSD.
With two days to go, get the client installed early. Line up your day-one prep with our launch checklist, see the full timeline (CN Beta, global launch, first raid) on the roadmap, and check the FAQ for eligibility, wipe and system questions.
