Note: this lead was originally published on October 13, 2026 by wow-forever.gg — a data-mining recap, not breaking news.
wow-forever.gg has published its record-by-record comparison of beta build 1.60.1.70374 against 70338. The build is small: one new spell and three new items, with zero changed spells and no class, race, zone or map records. What did land, though, is strikingly thematic: exploration and a pet.
What's new (data mining, not officially confirmed)
- New spell Summon Azurky: summons "Azurky". Judging by the name and the items added in the same build, this is a pet-class summon.
- Three new items: Azurky, the Eternal Explorer's Backpack, and the Tabard of Eternal Exploration.
A pet, a backpack and a tabard — all three point squarely at an "exploration" theme and look like one packaged set of exploration-flavored content. As of this build, Blizzard has said nothing official: what they do, how you get them, and whether they tie into achievements or the book-collection gameplay all remain to be seen in later builds or blue posts. Until then, treat this as an unverified lead.
A baseline number for the talent trees
The report also lays out the standing figures for the Forever class talent trees: 467 talents, 1,319 ranks and 27 tabs across 9 classes, with 26 of the 27 tabs carrying exactly one one-point talent in tier 4 (at the 16th point spent). Against the old Era talent table of 1.15.9.70003: 121 talents are Forever-only, 86 exist only in the old table, and 176 of the 346 matched talents changed max rank, position, prerequisite or rank-1 spell. Numbers like these don't move without a major build, so they make a solid baseline reference when you are digging through talent data.
